Teaching and training

"It is no longer I, but Christ who lives in me."

Training and Discipleship

Crossways to Life has developed a unique, dynamic, training and discipling ministry which God has used to transform hundreds of lives. Though the message we share is not new, the unique method in which we share it has proven again and again to be effective. It has shown people how to be free from enslaving mental and emotional conflicts, as well as how to restore marriages and families to wholeness. The very popular Grace Life Conference has returned and is being offered in multiple locations. For more information and to register, click here.

Exchanged Life Advanced Training (ELAT)

Registration is now open for ELAT starting in March 2025.

What is ELAT?

The Exchanged Life Advanced Training (ELAT) is a formal in-class training program created by Crossways to Life to provide a deeper experience of the Exchanged Life message for the student, including an understanding of some of the issues in personal discipleship counselling.

The program runs over a nine-month period and includes over 90 hours of classroom study taught by the staff at Crossways to Life, plus viewing over 30 hours of videos and listening to over 30 hours of audio messages taught by nationally known teachers. Students will also have an opportunity to practice what they are learning in a safe environment through practical training that is also included.

Personal mentoring will also be a part of the ELAT program so the participant will be able to maximize their growth as they continue to learn about the truth of Christ as their Life.

What topics will be covered?

Some of the topics covered will include Understanding the cross, Suffering, Helping Others, Counselling Techniques, Concept of God, Law and Grace, Listening to God, Temptation and Victory, Parenting under Grace, Marriage, Forgiveness, Guilt and Shame, Acceptance, Dealing with Trauma and many more.

Are there prerequisites?

Before beginning the ELAT program, all students are required to watch the video series ‘Romans 5-8 – Discovering God’s Grace’ and attend a Grace Life Conference.

Who should attend the ELAT program?

During ELAT, not only will the student gain an understanding of some tools that can be used to teach and lead others into experiencing Christ as Life, but he or she is will also experience personal growth in their walk with Christ.

Although ELAT is beneficial to Christian leaders and workers, it is not limited to those in active ministry. It is also very beneficial to those who might not foresee themselves in a ministry environment but still have a desire to know and experience more of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

How do I register?

The cost for ELAT is $2,000 and can be paid in instalments during the nine-month program. Once your application has been accepted, a deposit of $200 will guarantee you a spot in this year’s ELAT program.

Due to the nature of the program, space is limited to a maximum of eight participants. If you have any questions or if you want to apply for the next ELAT program then please contact our office.
